Two-day festival kicks off on Friday, October 25th
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 14, 2024) – Fall is right around the corner and so is the return of Sun BrewFest Weekend at Mohegan Sun! The action gets started on Friday, October 25th with the 3rd Annual Seltzer Social taking place on the revamped Sun Patio. On Saturday, October 26th, the 11th Annual Sun BrewFest is set to take place in the Earth Expo & Convention Center and promises to deliver good times and great beer!

Guests are invited to get ready for a bubbly bash at Mohegan Sun’s Seltzer Social! At the event, guests can expect a variety of seltzer flavors, from classic flavors to bold and adventurous new blends! Additional offerings include fall-inspired spirits, delicious bites from House of BBQ & Bacon and live entertainment from DJ Jay R One. Food and beverage tastings are all included in the ticket price. Plus, guests should be on the lookout for All Paws on Deck and their incredible adoption event where guests can interact with adorable puppies looking for their forever home. Sun BrewFest

Guests are invited to sip, savor and celebrate at the highly anticipated Sun BrewFest! From beer enthusiasts to those just looking for a fun afternoon out, this festival promises to deliver for everyone. Guests can sample a diverse selection of beers from the best local and regional breweries, eat tasty food from local restaurants and enjoy incredible live music performed by American Honey. Samples are included in ticket pricing. Plus, guests can compete in a Wicked Cornhole Tournament and a Stein Hoisting Competition that will be sure to keep everyone entertained!
Wicked Cornhole Tournament
Guests are invited to bring their best competition and toss some bags at the Sun BrewFest Cornhole Tournament hosted by Wicked Cornhole. The winning team will receive a $500 cash prize, a free hotel stay for future use and two tickets to a show at Mohegan Sun Arena (subject to availability)! Second place will receive a $300 cash prize and third place will receive a $200 cash prize. Advanced registration for the Wicked Cornhole tournament is required to participate. For tournament registration, guests must purchase a special ticket via Eventbrite that also includes access to the VIP hour (2:00pm – 3:00pm) at Sun BrewFest. Tournament guests can check in at a designated will call window on the day of event.
Tickets to Seltzer Social and Sun BrewFest are available during a special pre-sale from Thursday, August 15th at 10:00am – Wednesday, August 21st at 11:59pm. The general on sale begins Thursday, August 22nd at 10:00am. Those who are interested in everything Sun BrewFest Weekend has to offer have the option to purchase a Seltzer Social and Sun BrewFest combo ticket during both the special pre-sale and general on sale. Additionally, designated driver tickets will be available for those who are skipping the beer, but still want to enjoy the entertainment, activities, and great food at Sun BrewFest. All tickets will be available via Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability.

UNCASVILLE, CT (July 25, 2024) – Special Olympics Connecticut invites thrill-seeking individuals and teams to sign up for its annual Over the Edge event at Mohegan Sun happening throughout the day on Friday, August 30th. During Over the Edge, fearless participants will rappel more than 30 floors down Mohegan Sun’s Sky Tower to support Special Olympics’ year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes of all abilities across the state. This marks the thirteenth year that Mohegan Sun will host Over the Edge, which draws participants from area businesses and corporations, community organizations and law enforcement departments and is open to all. Several Special Olympics athletes are also expected to rappel this year. Additionally, Special Olympics athletes will be on hand to cheer participants on and thank them for their fundraising efforts and brave demonstration of support.
Over the Edge participants must raise a minimum of $1,250 to rappel and weigh 100 lbs. or more. No rappelling experience is required, as day-of training and continuous support is provided throughout the experience.
